A range of seasonal medicinal salves, infused oils and wild brews all handmade from foraged plants

Wildcrafted and handmade in Argyll, Scotland

Wildcrafted Plants

Different plants have different medicinal values and have been used for thousands of years to aid and heal our mind and body. Following the seasonal shifts in nature, I forage what is available and base my products on what is growing in the area at the time. During spring and summer I also dry plants to create a herbal larder of plants to use during the autumn and winter months.

My Process

Each foraged plant is infused in carrier oils to extract the medicinal plant constituents that will help soothe your skin and aid in healing. I use various different carrier oils depending on the products. They are always organic and cold pressed. Some of my favourites are sweet almond oil, castor oil, and hemp oil. I use raw organic bees wax and organic shea butter and coconut oil.  Essential oils are added according to their medicinal qualities and for fragrance. But for those folks with sensitivity to essential oils, products can be made without upon request.

Landscape

I am situated on the west coast of Scotland. I sustainably forage plants on a seasonal basis. When working, i always  keep in mind the following:  take only what I need, do not overharvest,  leave enough for wildlife and re-growth, and harvest species using a technique that does not cause permanent damage.
